Telling a pregnant woman that they are gaining too much weight...........Wait..what?!

At my last ob appointment, the doc walks in and starts talking to us like we're good friends. I lay down, and go to pull up my shirt, and she starts talking about the 30 pound weight gain.
She starts saying that I am very close to the 30 pound mark and I need to slow down. It's not so much for baby's sake that she's worried, but for my sake because a lot of first time moms come back in depressed about the weight gain not coming off. I looked at her and almost cried.
Hmm.
Do NOT EVER tell a pregnant woman she is gaining too much weight. I am sensitive about my weight anyway. I have always been a lil heavy and considered "obese" at the doctors. I lost 22 pounds before I got pregnant and while I have put that back on now, I have not went to far above that.
What would you like me to do? Stop eating to not gain weight? Pretty sure that's not healthy. I'm not worried as long as baby is ok. And according to what you have said? Baby is ok.
My husband told her I would be fine, and my mom told her that she gained almost 70 with me...so therefore , the skinny twit needs to back down. Sad part is? I have a friend who saw her one time and the dr told her the same thing. Guess what? She had her a beautiful baby boy and no issues. So I might have a lil extra padding around my middle for a while. but I plan on going back to the gym as soon as possible, and I plan on losing like I was before. To be a mother, takes sacrifices. I know this. You know this. As long as my baby is healthy and I am healthy, keep your weight comments to yourself.

Wedding Dress Fittings :)

So, I FINALLY got all my wedding pics :) YAY! :) my mom and I found all my wedding dress try on pics and I posted them on shutterfly (of course) and thought maybe I could post a couple here !! ENJOY!!
